La Esquinita Test Plot
A plot within a community park for food, herbs and medicinal plants
Address: Los Angeles Center River and Gardens, 570 W Ave 26, Los Angeles, CA 90065
Enter the LA River Center & Gardens off of Ave 26. Park in the main lot. When facing the main building, walk to the right 300’ and around the corner. It is open between sunrise and sunset.
Partnering with Mujeres de la Tierra, Studio-MLA, LA Works and MRCA to incorporate an ethnobotanical Test Plot into a newly renovated park called La Esquinita “the little corner” formerly known as the River Garden Park, in the River Center and Gardens.
Join us for monthly workdays and workshops featuring herbalists and other practitioners who will teach us about different ethnobotanical uses of plants. Visit the volunteer tab for more information on upcoming events. To become a regular volunteer, please join our Google group.
